TIME:     Registration 8:00am-10am

Cost:      $30 Per Player for Early Registration- Can be done at Colony Office- quick applications are there:  check made payable to AAF if you need to.  Preferably cash....

First 75 people registered will get a T shirt    

            $40 Per player for Registration that Morning

What:           

CannonBall Classic : A Charity softball tournament is being held on Saturday August 20th at Brooks Field in Medford Lakes.  The proceeds will go to two very worthy charities of local interest.

All are welcome to play.  If you're interested in playing, you can sign up at the Medford Lakes Colony office for $30. any time between now and the day of the tourney.  Or you can just register at the field that morning for $ 40.  It is a one-pitch tourney, teams will be drawn at random, and everyone will get to play at least three (3) games.  There will be some food and beverages as well.  Should b e a good time for a good cause.

 

When:      SATURDAY August 20th - One day tournament only

 

Where:    Brooks Field – Medford Lakes

 

Fee:     $30 pre-register or $40 at the field gets you a one-of-a-kind Cannonball Classic T-shirt & minimum of three games*(first 75 people)

 

Goal:         10 Teams of at least 12 players each.

 

Format:    One-Pitch Tournament:

¨       If the pitch is a strike, batter swings & misses, or fouls it off; it’s an out. 

¨       If the pitch is not a strike and the batter does not swing; it’s a walk.

¨       Anything in play is considered “live”; anything out of play is an out.

¨       Games are 7 innings OR 15 Run Rule after 5 innings OR 1 hour time limit.

 

Rules:    More specific rules will be provided to the coaches & all players on August 20th

 

Eligibility:  This is an open players event.  All interested parties are eligible

 

 Schedule:     Saturday August 20th – Division Play all day beginning at 8:00 am (registration) and continuing throughout

          the day.  Each team will play one game against every team in their division. (hopefully depending on how many teams sign up.

                  This totals 10 games per division and 20 games total.  This gives each team a minimum of three games based on a

                  ten team tournament. Top two teams from each division (four total) will play for the

        championship. this may changed depending on how many show up.
